Job Description

TransUnion seeks a Product Manager to drive its global fraud business, aiming to be a world-leading solution. The role involves creating advanced fraud and identity solutions using data analytics and machine learning. Responsibilities include defining features, writing product specifications, managing backlogs, and shipping products. The manager will analyze solution designs, diagnose technical problems, collaborate with stakeholders, track revenue, develop product strategies, identify innovations, and stay updated on industry trends. This is a hybrid position.
Must have:
  • Minimum Degree in Business Administration/Computer Science/Engineering or similar fields.
  • Possess certification or hands-on experience on Agile methodology.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Product Management or Business Analysis for banking solutions.
  • Knowledge in the areas of machine learning and biometrics.
  • Analytically minded and able to use qualitative data to create business cases and communicate these to stakeholders and teams.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to understand needs, define features, write product specifications, and manage product backlog.
  • Contribute to and analyze the design of solutions that enhance availability, reliability, performance, security, and agility.
  • Lead diagnosis of complex technical problems to their root cause and recommend best course of action.
  • Work alongside business teams, customers, IT, and technology suppliers to foster strong team dynamics.
  • Track pipelines and revenue recognition, working with sales to achieve revenue targets.
  • Develop and implement product strategies and roadmaps consistent with company vision.
  • Identify and present new product innovations.
  • Maintain a current understanding of industry and technology trends.

What You'll Bring:

Impact You'll Make:

  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to understand needs, define features, write product specifications, iterate on feedback, write test plans with QA, manage product backlog and ultimately ship products/features/releases in a timely manner
  • Contribute to and analyse the design of solutions that enhance the availability, reliability, performance, security and agility of technologies
  • Lead diagnosis of complex technical problems to their root cause and recommend best course of action
  • Work alongside business teams, customers, IT and technology suppliers to foster strong team dynamics
  • Tracking pipelines and revenue recognition and working with sales to achieve revenue target
  • Develop and implement product strategies and roadmaps consistent with company vision
  • Identify and present new product innovations
  • Maintain a current understanding of industry and technology trends

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
