Job Summary

This role involves driving business growth for Semtech sensing products in target segments, evaluating marketing strategies based on market trends and competition, and providing sales support through product training and marketing collateral. The manager will also engage with the industry by attending tradeshows and collaborating with partners. Requires 5+ years in consumer markets, preferably with capacitive sensing, and strong customer engagement, negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.

Must Have

  • Drive business growth by promoting Semtech sensing products to target segments and customers.
  • Evaluate marketing strategies and conduct analyses based on business objectives, market trends, competition, and value-cost factors.
  • Provide product training to Sales, FAEs, and representatives.
  • Create marketing collateral/presentations for new product launches.
  • Attend tradeshows/workshops/conferences and collaborate with reference design partners.
  • 5+ years of experience in consumer markets, preferably with capacitive sensing applications.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience collaborating with global product development teams to successfully bring new products to market.
  • Strong customer engagement skills, including negotiation, communication, and presentation abilities.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and enthusiastic, with a commitment to achieving business objectives.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and share knowledge with colleagues.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interface at all organizational levels.

Good to Have

  • Experience in RF systems.
  • Strong knowledge of analog and mixed signal circuitry.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Drive business growth: Promote Semtech sensing products to target segments and customers to achieve design wins and revenue growth. (30%)
  • Market strategy and analysis: Evaluate marketing strategies and conduct analyses based on business objectives, market trends, competition, and value-cost factors. (25%)
  • Sales support: Provide product training to Sales, FAEs, and representatives, and create marketing collateral/presentations for new product launches. (25%)
  • Industry engagement: Attend tradeshows/workshops/conferences and collaborate with reference design partners for joint promotional efforts. (20%)

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in consumer markets, preferably with capacitive sensing applications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience collaborating with global product development teams to successfully bring new products to market.
  • Strong customer engagement skills, including negotiation, communication, and presentation abilities.
