We are seeking a skilled systems engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated security vulnerability detection and remediation systems. This role combines software engineering expertise with security domain knowledge to build scalable automation and AI-driven solutions, directly impacting the protection of billions of users across a growing product ecosystem.
You will join an intrepid team of engineers and partners building the future of Product Security! Your role will focus on some of our most ambitious security automation efforts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a mixture of our core work: assessing security vulnerabilities, along with tool development to optimize our business operations. This will include contributions to our tool suite which supports our external security submission portal, our triage and routing tools, and our AI frameworks which power operations in security engineering and across the company.
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $147,400 and $272,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
