Job Summary

Job Description

This role involves accountability for R&D deliverables, coordinating software and hardware R&D activities, and managing contributors. Key responsibilities include applying the Product Development Process (CPM), planning and ensuring traceability for projects to meet cost, time, and quality targets, and ensuring robust design. The engineer will also represent R&D to customers and manage project R&D subjects.
Must have:
  • Applying the Product Development Process (CPM).
  • Planning, coordinating, and ensuring traceability for projects, meeting cost, time, and quality targets.
  • Ensuring robust design within economic targets.
  • Applying standardization rules and calling for design reviews.
  • Representing R&D to the customer and acting as the interface for project R&D subjects.
  • Reporting and escalating to managers as needed.
  • Supporting A-SPICE development.
  • Detailed scheduling and budgeting.
  • Identifying resource needs.
  • Breaking down activities to meet milestones.
  • Managing activities and spending within budget.
  • Managing contributors and different disciplines (Hardware, Software, Mechanics, Production).
  • Regular reviews with your Product Technical Leader/Manager or R&D manager.
  • Checking alignment between needs and availabilities.

Your Mission:

  • Applying the Product Development Process (CPM).
  • Planning, coordinating, and ensuring traceability for projects, meeting cost, time, and quality targets.
  • Ensuring robust design within economic targets.
  • Applying standardization rules and calling for design reviews.
  • Representing R&D to the customer and acting as the interface for project R&D subjects.
  • Reporting and escalating to managers as needed.
  • Supporting A-SPICE development.
  • Detailed scheduling and budgeting.
  • Identifying resource needs.
  • Breaking down activities to meet milestones.
  • Managing activities and spending within budget.
  • Managing contributors and different disciplines (Hardware, Software, Mechanics, Production).
  • Regular reviews with your Product Technical Leader/Manager or R&D manager.
  • Checking alignment between needs and availabilities.

We're Looking For:

  • Technical background in electronics or IT.
  • 3+ years in a similar role or as a project manager, preferably in automotive.
  • Fluent English.
  • Experience leading projects with embedded software (a plus), and knowledge of DOORS.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Problem-solving ability for clients and complex issues.
  • Ability to work independently on diverse challenges.
