Job Description

You will join the UAP Glace at the Sens site, managing a team of 4 people and supporting their development. Your responsibilities include initiating QRQC, assisting UAP Managers with problem analysis, updating quality metrics, conducting line audits, and actively working to eliminate customer and non-quality incidents. You will also ensure adherence to quality standards, update control plans, verify 4M matrix compliance, and represent the client on quality matters. This role requires at least 5 years of industrial experience, strong analytical skills, and mastery of quality methodologies.

Must Have:
  • Integrate the UAP Glace of the Sens site and manage a team of 4 people.
  • Initiate QRQC in the dedicated database and validate action robustness.
  • Support UAP Managers and site management in analyzing problems assigned in QRQC.
  • Update UAP quality monitoring charts: Customer returns, Cost of non-quality.
  • Conduct line audits to detect non-compliance with standards and identify corrective actions.
  • Participate in the eradication of customer incidents and non-quality incidents.
  • Ensure compliance with quality incident reaction rules during UAP QRQC meetings.
  • Update the control plan after an incident.
  • Verify 4M matrix compliance regarding product or process modifications and ensure customer awareness and approval.
  • Update quality documents following a process change.
  • Verify the conformity of product manufacturing processes against specifications (machine capacity, annual product audit).
  • Have the decision-making authority to stop a manufacturing/assembly line if standards are not respected or a safety/quality risk is detected.
  • Represent the client within Valeo on quality issues (communication/escalation).
  • Responsible for managing PDCA and closures for internal supplier incidents.
  • Higher technical education (Quality, Production, Industrial Engineering or equivalent).
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in an industrial environment.
  • Mastery of problem-solving and quality analysis methodologies (QRQC, 8D, FMEA, 5 Whys, Ishikawa).
  • Mastery of manufacturing and assembly processes.
  • Ability to perform visual and appearance checks.
  • Rigor, field presence, analytical mind, and decision-making ability in a demanding environment.
  • Stress resistance and a sense of continuous improvement.
  • Professional level of English.

We are recruiting a UAP Quality Engineer M/F

Your missions:

You will integrate the UAP Glace of the Sens site and manage a team of 4 people, whom you will support in skill development and daily performance.

Your main missions will be:

  • Initiate QRQC in the dedicated database – participate in securing and validating the robustness of actions.
  • Support UAP Managers and site management in analyzing problems assigned in QRQC.
  • Update UAP quality monitoring charts: Customer returns – Cost of non-quality…
  • Conduct line audits to detect non-compliance with the Standard and identify with the UAP the actions to be taken to conform to standards.
  • Participate in the eradication of customer incidents and non-quality incidents.
  • During the UAP QRQC meeting, ensure that the rules for reacting to quality incidents are respected.
  • Update the control plan after an incident.
  • Verify 4M matrix compliance regarding product or process modifications and ensure customer awareness and approval of modifications in accordance with the 4M matrix.
  • Update quality documents following a process-related change.
  • Verify the conformity of product manufacturing processes against specifications according to control plans (machine capacity – annual product audit…).
  • Have the decision-making authority to stop a manufacturing/assembly line in cases where standards are not respected or when a safety or quality risk has been detected or following an LLC stability audit below 100%.
  • Represent the client within Valeo on quality issues (communication/escalation).
  • Responsible for managing PDCA and closures for internal supplier incidents.

About you:

With a higher technical education (Quality, Production, Industrial Engineering or equivalent), you have at least 5 years of professional experience in an industrial environment, ideally in the automotive sector or in a high-volume industry.

You master problem-solving and quality analysis methodologies (QRQC, 8D, FMEA, 5 Whys, Ishikawa) as well as manufacturing and assembly processes.

You also know how to perform visual and appearance checks, in addition to machine checks.

You are recognized for your rigor, your field presence, your analytical mind, and your ability to make decisions in a demanding environment.

Your stress resistance and your sense of continuous improvement allow you to contribute effectively to the site's quality performance.

A professional level of English is required to communicate in an international environment.
