Job Summary

Cadence is seeking a motivated Product Validation Engineer II: Quality Assurance - Jasper to join its team in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. This role involves working with the Jasper Formal Verification Platform within the VFS group. Key responsibilities include developing and executing test plans, writing RTL sources for specific testing scenarios, implementing automated tests, assisting the R&D team with specification feedback, identifying and tracking software defects, and continuously improving testing processes and methodologies to ensure the highest software quality.

Must Have

Developing and executing test plans for feature exploration
Writing different styles of RTL sources for specific testing scenarios
Implementing automated tests for Jasper formal verification product
Assisting the research & development team with specification feedbacks
Identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects and enhancements
Developing testing tools to maintain software quality
Continuously improving testing processes and methodologies
2+ years of experience in Quality Assurance/Product Validation
Experience with software testing, regression testing and automated testing tools
Good problem-solving and debugging skills
Knowledge of programming language/scripts
Knowledge of Unix/Linux environment
Good Version Control knowledge
Advanced spoken and written English
Good interpersonal skills

Good to Have

Knowledge/Experience EDA and VLSI design, including Verilog and VHDL languages
Experience with scripting environments - either Tcl or Python
Knowledge/Experience with Formal verification and/or simulation

Job Description:

Developing and executing test plans for the exploration of a variety of features.
Writing different styles of RTL sources to address specific testing scenarios.
Implement automated tests for the various features of Jasper, our formal verification product.
Assisting the research & development team with specification feedbacks.
Identify, document, and track software defects and enhancements.
Develop testing tools to maintain our software with the highest quality.
Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.

Requirements:

Complete bachelor’s in computer science or computer Engineering or related fields.
2+ years of experience in Quality Assurance/Product Validation
Experience with software testing, regression testing and automated testing tools;
Good problem-solving and debugging skills.
Knowledge of programming language/scripts.
Knowledge of Unix/Linux environment
Good Version Control knowledge
Advanced spoken and written English.
Good interpersonal skills.

Nice to have:
