The Techstars Tokyo Accelerator Program Manager is a core operational member of the team. The primary role of the Program Manager is to ensure the successful operation of the program based on the Techstars Playbook, providing the best experience for entrepreneurs, mentors, partners, investors, and other stakeholders.
Specifically, you will be responsible for ensuring the success of the entire accelerator cycle, from pre-program preparation, outreach to applicant entrepreneurs, and founder onboarding, through the 13-week program operation, to Demo Day. This includes utilizing tools for managing program data, developing processes, creating and scheduling the 3-month program calendar, logistics and event management, and executing the culminating Demo Day.
Throughout the year, there will be opportunities for working across the Techstars network, supporting cross-collaboration projects, professional growth and career development, and connecting with colleagues worldwide.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Managing Director, the overall program leader, to plan and successfully execute the accelerator program, including Demo Day.
- Ensure the program follows Best Practices and aligns with the Techstars Playbook content and curriculum.
- Provide the highest standard of accelerator experience to founders, mentors, partners, investors, and other program stakeholders.
- Responsible for overall program logistics, operations, administration, scheduling, calendar management, and event planning.
- Build strong relationships with entrepreneurs, mentors, investors, alumni, partners, and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the global mentor team to facilitate successful founder-mentor matching at a global level and identify the most suitable mentors at the program level.
- Collaborate with the platform team to host community events at local community and ecosystem events as a corporate ambassador for Techstars.
Required Experience:
- Business level English proficiency.
- At least 3 years of experience in operations, event planning, and project management.
- Experience in early-stage venture capital or the startup ecosystem is a plus.
- Experience dealing with various stakeholders, including entrepreneurs, internal and external clients.

Compensation:
¥12 million or more
This position is a long-term contract employee with renewal option.
