Job Summary

FOX Staffing Network is seeking a highly skilled Project Architect for an innovative architectural partner. This role involves technical leadership, problem-solving, and coordinating complex projects from concept through construction, focusing on sustainable, high-performance building design. The ideal candidate will drive technical design, manage documentation, and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Must Have

  • Lead coordination efforts among project team members, engineers, and consultants.
  • Drive technical design development and ensure alignment with client vision and goals.
  • Manage and participate in project meetings, providing technical guidance and direction.
  • Oversee project documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with codes and industry standards.
  • Implement design intent throughout all phases, including design, documentation, and construction.
  • Manage BIM integration and coordination efforts.
  • Incorporate sustainable design principles and coordinate LEED or similar certification requirements.
  • Conduct site visits, review shop drawings, respond to RFIs, and participate in construction meetings.
  • Professional or Master’s degree in Architecture.
  • 6+ years of experience as a Project Architect.
  • Proficiency with Revit, BIM workflows, and visualization tools such as Adobe Photoshop.
  • Advanced knowledge of building systems, construction operations, and MEP systems.
  • Familiarity with relevant codes, regulations, and sustainability standards.

Good to Have

  • Architectural licensure preferred (North Carolina licensure a plus).
  • LEED AP or other sustainability accreditation preferred.

About the Opportunity

FOX Staffing Network is seeking a highly skilled Project Architect to join one of our innovative architectural partners known for sustainable, high-performance building design. This role is ideal for a detail-driven architect who excels in technical leadership, problem-solving, and coordinating complex projects from concept through construction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead coordination efforts among project team members, engineers, and consultants.
  • Drive technical design development and ensure alignment with client vision and goals.
  • Manage and participate in project meetings, providing technical guidance and direction.
  • Oversee project documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with codes and industry standards.
  • Implement design intent throughout all phases, including design, documentation, and construction.
  • Manage BIM integration and coordination efforts.
  • Incorporate sustainable design principles and coordinate LEED or similar certification requirements.
  • Conduct site visits, review shop drawings, respond to RFIs, and participate in construction meetings.
  • Build relationships with product reps and maintain up-to-date industry knowledge.
  • Support marketing efforts by preparing presentations and participating in client interviews.

Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency with Revit, BIM workflows, and visualization tools such as Adobe Photoshop.
  • Exceptional drawing and architectural detailing skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of building systems, construction operations, and MEP systems.
  • Familiarity with relevant codes, regulations, and sustainability standards.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • High attention to detail and ability to collaborate in a team-focused environment.

Education & Experience

  • Professional or Master’s degree in Architecture.
  • 6+ years of experience as a Project Architect.
  • Architectural licensure preferred (North Carolina licensure a plus).
  • LEED AP or other sustainability accreditation preferred.
