Position Overview
As a Senior Project Manager at Autodesk, you will oversee the planning, execution, and evaluation of office events, site communications, and related projects. You will ensure seamless coordination across teams, aligning with One ORBIT by being optimistic in seeing possibilities, relentless in pursuing excellence, brave in challenging the status status quo, ingenious in unlocking innovation, and trusted in all interactions, while working as One Autodesk to deliver exceptional value.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end management of office events, including planning, budgeting, vendor coordination, and on-site execution to deliver high-impact experiences that inspire and support success
- Manage site-related communications, ensuring clear, timely, and effective messaging across internal and external stakeholders, building trust through transparency and reliability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align events and communications with Autodesk’s strategic goals, busting silos and leveraging diversity of thought as One Autodesk
- Develop and implement event strategies that promote team building, employee engagement, and cultural alignment, reimagining what’s possible with creative and resourceful approaches
- Monitor project timelines, resources, and budgets, mitigating risks and ensuring successful outcomes by being relentless in execution and brave in addressing challenges
- Evaluate event success through metrics and feedback, driving continuous improvement with an optimistic, solutions-focused mindset
- Travel 10-15% for events, including site visits and off-site coordination as needed, adapting with agility and ingenuity
Minimum Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on event management and communications
- Expertise in managing site-related communications and office events, demonstrating strong organizational and leadership skills aligned with One ORBIT values
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage diverse audiences and build trust through every interaction
- Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, or equivalent experience in the aviation or hospitality industry
- Proven ability to thrive in a collaborative environment, embodying One Autodesk by prioritizing shared goals, embracing optimism, relentlessness, bravery, ingenuity, and trust
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies
- Ability to travel 10-15% for events
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a fast-paced, creative industry like technology or design
- Familiarity with virtual and hybrid event platforms
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset that takes smart risks and reimagines solutions
- Graduated from Mass communication
