Senior Software Project Manager (m/f/d)

As a Senior Software Project Manager, you take responsibility for project success, accompany our customers from planning to go-live, and ensure the optimal balance between customer wishes and business interests.

What you do:

You support our customers in the planning and implementation of their digitalization projects. From consulting and team setup for project start, to go-live. Your tasks include:

• Projects & Controlling: You lead our customer projects in the areas of web, app, IoT, workflows, and cloud and are responsible for the management, controlling, and billing of the teams and our orders.
• Risk Management: You identify risks and problems proactively, communicate them preventively, and take the right measures.
• Proposal Management: Together with our sales team, architects, and digital consultants, you take responsibility for proposal creation.
• Staffing: You are responsible for deployment planning and organization for short and medium service orders.

What you need:

Can you communicate clearly and effectively with customers and team members and do you have strong organizational talent? Do you recognize problems early, develop efficient solutions, and respond flexibly to new challenges? Perfect! In addition, you bring the following:

• At least 5 years of professional experience in a similar position - ideally with an IT service provider or a comparable company.
• Familiarity with digitalization and software development projects and relevant experience with agile IT project and service management (proposal creation, setup, organization of delivery, controlling, and billing) as well as with leading agile project teams.
• Routine in dealing with customers and maintaining an overview when things get complex and intense, e.g., at project start or go-live.
• Completed Hermes Project Management certification (HERMES 5 or HERMES 5 Foundation/Advanced).
• Ability to set clear boundaries and master communicative tensions.
• Fluent German and English skills.
