Job Description

Job Description

We are now looking for you – an engaged and ambitious road planner, assignment manager or project group leader who wants to challenge themselves in small and large projects that contribute to a greener future. With us, you get to help shape the future infrastructure in projects with high visibility and societal value.

As an employee with us, you will play an important role in this work, both in meeting our clients and as a valuable part of the project teams that develop future transport solutions. You will have the opportunity to use your knowledge and experience in a large and interdisciplinary professional environment that stretches from Porsgrunn in the south to Alta in the north. Rambøll plays a key role in a number of significant projects, both nationally and locally, and we see increasing awareness and demand for sustainable solutions in all our projects.

If this sounds like you, or you become curious, this could be your perfect opportunity.

Your new position

As our new road planner, assignment manager or project group leader, you will become part of a large and strongly multidisciplinary division with around 170 employees distributed across the country. Our assignments vary in both size and complexity, and include everything from large national road and rail projects to more local assignments in cities and towns. *You get to work throughout the project's life cycle – from early phase and zoning plans, to detailed planning, follow-up during the construction period and inspections of completed facilities.*

Right now, we are working on some of Norway's most exciting transport projects, including:

  • E39 Gartnerløkka–Kolsdalen: a large and complex road and construction project in the middle of Kristiansand
  • E6 Berkåk–Vindåsliene: new 4-lane motorway in southern Trøndelag
  • E6 Ranheim–Sveberg: new 4-lane motorway just outside Trondheim

Our clients include the Norwegian Public Roads Administration, Nye Veier, Avinor, the Armed Forces, county municipalities and municipalities, Norwegian and foreign contractors, as well as other public and private clients. This gives us a unique variation and breadth in projects, where we work closely with both public clients and private clients to develop future sustainable solutions.

What will be your main tasks?

With us, you will work with, among other things:

  • Assignment management, project group leader, professional responsibility or project planning in various phases and projects
  • Follow-up of projects in the execution phase
  • Market and tender work
  • Relationship building with clients and skilled colleagues

Do you want breadth? Or do you want to specialize? You will have the opportunity to influence which tasks you spend most time on, and the direction you want to develop in. We work closely in an inclusive professional environment with a low threshold for sparring, openness and a high degree of knowledge sharing, both locally, nationally and internationally.

Who are you?

At Rambøll, our employees are our most important resource, and your professional development is crucial for our success. From day one, you will receive support to develop further. We would like you to have:

  • Engineering education at bachelor's or master's level
  • Experience in road, construction and traffic planning
  • Interest or experience with project planning and consulting
  • Good collaboration skills and preferably experience from the public or private sector

We are also looking for someone who is good at communicating and collaborating with clients, partners and colleagues. If you have experience from total contracts or leadership roles in projects, it is a big plus, but not a requirement.
