This Project Manager role is crucial for organizing and operating a high-performing, multi-disciplined team focused on preparing games for release. The successful candidate will manage multiple projects for major gaming clients, ensuring smooth delivery through resource, equipment, financial, and personnel management, alongside dynamic client engagement. The role requires a passion for quality, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent people skills, working to challenging deadlines. You will be responsible for the entire PST shift (5pm to 1:30am Madrid time), overseeing projects across Spain and the UK.
Must Have
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish
- Ability to write accurate, unambiguous, and concise documentation
- Adept at engaging with clients and building strong relationships
- Established experience managing diverse teams
- Extensive experience in Quality Assurance practice
- Thorough knowledge of testing formats (FQA, CQA, Compatibility, UAT)
- Knowledge of QA Tools, SDKs, VR/AR platforms, TRCFs, first-party platform requirements
- Ability to negotiate with intelligence and pragmatism
- Quick learner and highly adaptable
- Excellent team player, able to work under pressure within tight deadlines
- Strong empathy and conflict resolution skills
- Pro-active, tenacious, and enthusiastic
- Understanding of basic accountancy
- Capable of self-organising
- Ability to lead by example
- Coaching and mentoring ability

IMPORTANT: This role is for our "PST" shift that runs from 5pm to 1:30am local Madrid time. Please ensure you are able to work and commute to the office at these hours permanently before applying.
You will play a central part in organising and operating a high performing and multi-disciplined team whose mission is to get the latest and greatest games ready for release and beyond. You’ll have a passion to get things right, organisational ability, excellent attention to detail, a thorough approach, great people skills, and enjoy working with colleagues to meet challenging deadlines. Having proven yourself on the test floor and in a prior leadership role, you’ll be showing others how to achieve the same success, and liaising directly with clients to ensure that all test activities are conducted with the client’s needs as focus. As a Project Manager you’re trusted to fully own and operate multiple projects with some of the world’s biggest names. You will be organised, focussed, independent, guaranteeing smooth delivery day after day through resource and equipment management, financial control, personnel management, and fully dynamic client engagement. Working with other Project Managers and the Head of FQA you’ll help grow projects, build Universally Speaking’s reputation, and help establish our front in the marketplace.
You will be responsible for our entire PST shift (5pm to 1:30am Madrid local time), running projects across Spain and the UK simultaneously for some of biggest names in gaming.
Requirements

- Thorough knowledge of testing formats (FQA, CQA, Compatibility, UAT and more)
- Knowledge of QA Tools, SDKs, VR/AR platforms, TRCFs, first-party platform requirements and other standards that affect the FQA service.
- Can negotiate with intelligence and pragmatism.
- Are a quick learner and highly adaptable.
- Are an excellent team player, with the ability to work under pressure within tight deadlines by organising and making best use of your teams.
- Have strong empathy and conflict resolution skills, able to help your people resolve interpersonal issues before they arise.
