E2open is seeking a Senior Program Manager to join their Professional Services team. The role involves managing the delivery of intelligent applications from E2open's SaaS suite, overseeing the entire project lifecycle from initiation to deployment. Responsibilities include building and maintaining customer relationships, reporting on project success metrics, managing risks, and mentoring team members. The Senior Program Manager will also be involved in services sales tasks like Salesforce opportunity and contract creation, and identifying upsell opportunities to grow Professional Services revenue. This position requires a strong understanding of Supply Chain practices and experience in complex software implementation projects within an enterprise customer environment.

SENIOR PROGRAM MANAGER

E2open is currently looking for a Senior Program Manager to join our team. As a Senior Program Manager in the Professional Services group, you will be responsible for delivery of intelligent applications from e2open’s SaaS suite. You will have direct responsibility for solution delivery to a customer across all project phases and will use your knowledge of Supply Chain practices to deliver high customer satisfaction, by acting as an advocate for the client, providing direction for design activities, ensuring project delivery on time and within budget.

The Senior Program Manager works closely with the Program Director and/or Practice Director to complete routine analysis and research in support of business goals and strategies including implementation of modifications to solve problems and assisting in day-to-day project support.to ensure project success.

The Senior Program Manager has the following typical duties and responsibilities. This is not an exhaustive list and may vary from project to project based on the needs of that engagement.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage a portfolio of complex software implementation projects across Business Units including new customer implementations
  • Build, foster and maintain customer relationships at various levels including C-Suite
  • Full project life cycle ownership: successful project delivery will include full implementation from initiation and defining scope to deployment for one major or several minor initiatives simultaneously
  • Report on project success criteria results, metrics, test, and deployment management activities
  • Review estimates and prepare detailed project plan for all phases of the project
  • Be responsible for services sales tasks like Salesforce opportunity and contract (SOW/CR) creation
  • Lead in the resolution of any issues and problems that develop during the project lifecycle and effectively identify and communicate risk and mitigation options to other leaders within the project
  • Be a leader and a key player on a team of technical and business analysts and engineers, foster a productive team environment, leveraging diverse views to encourage innovation, and mentoring team members to ensure their success and growth
  • Be accountable for project deliverables throughout the life cycle of the project
  • Assess project performance and communicate lessons learned to increase institutional knowledge, and further enhance best practices, tools, processes, and methodologies within Professional Services
  • Be able to communicate high level plans for budget and scope and prepare and track the project management documents, including the Statement of Work, Change Order requests, Resource Plan, Risk Management, and Time Management documents
  • Identify and drive upsells within the Business Unit to grow Professional Service revenue
  • Additional duties as assigned

QUALIFICATONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Broad process knowledge desired across multiple Supply Chain Applications.
  • 5 + years of experience working in a Supply Chain-related or SaaS-related field in increasingly responsible roles including implementing complex solutions in an enterprise customer environment
  • Hands-on experience in software deployment projects (no software development experience required)
  • Ability to communicate and guide the implementation effort towards business objectives
  • Ability to proactively identify issues and to build mitigation plans
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with the customer
  • Ability to work across all levels of internal and external organization
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Ability to present strategic information, data, and results in a clear and understandable manner utilizing methods appropriate to various forums
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with a high degree of self-motivation and ability to work independently
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to function well in a fast-paced, informal environment where constant change is the norm and the bar for delivering
  • Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:  

  • General office environment and responsibilities requiring: 
    • Extensive use of the computer which involves viewing a monitor and keyboarding for most of the workday 
    • Placing and receiving phone calls 
    • Occasionally moving and lifting objects up to 20 pounds 
    • Occasional travel as required
