Summary
Data has never been more valuable and vulnerable. As cybercriminals become more sophisticated and regulations more strict, organizations struggle to answer one key question: “Is my data safe?“

At Varonis, we see the world of cybersecurity differently. Instead of chasing threats, we believe the most practical approach is protecting data from the inside out. We’ve built the industry’s first fully autonomous Data Security Platform to help our customers dramatically reduce risk with minimal human effort.

At Varonis, we move fast. We’re an ultra-collaborative company with brilliant people who care deeply about the details. Together, we’re solving interesting and complex puzzles to keep the world’s data safe.
We work in a flexible, hybrid model, so you can choose the home-office balance that works best for you.

We are looking for a proactive and dedicated QA & Automation Engineer who will take full ownership of the overall quality and reliability of our software releases.
In this role, you won't just write automation tests—you'll actively ensure our product meets the highest standards end-to-end, from test planning and creation through deployment and validation in production.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts to ensure product reliability.
  • Take full ownership of the testing lifecycle, from test planning and execution to analyzing results and ensuring issues are resolved promptly.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to identify quality risks and gaps, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
  • Monitor, investigate, and drive resolution of failures and anomalies in automated tests and production environments.
  • Continuously improve test strategies, frameworks, and processes to optimize efficiency, speed, and test coverage.
  • Provide clear, actionable feedback to development teams on product quality and potential improvements.
  • Document testing processes, plans, and guidelines clearly for knowledge sharing across the team.
Requirements

  • 7 years of experience in quality assurance.
  • 4 years of experience in automation development.
  • Strong programming skills, preferably in Python/C#/Go.
  • Experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar tools.
  • Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines and the ability to integrate automated tests effectively.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a meticulous attention to detail.
  • A proactive, ownership-driven attitude toward software quality.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Background or experience in performance testing and monitoring tools.
