Job Summary
The QA Automation Engineering Manager will oversee Manual QA Engineers, Automation Engineers, and Mobile Ad SDK Testing Specialists, driving cohesive quality practices across all teams. This role is accountable for delivering high-quality releases, optimizing testing processes, and ensuring consistent, reliable execution across all product lines. The manager's leadership will enable scalable automation, strong test strategies, and a culture of excellence within the QA organization.
Must Have
- Own QA strategy, test planning, and execution across backend, web portals, and Ad SDK integrations.
- Manage a team of offshore Manual and Automation QA Engineers.
- Ensure efficient collaboration with product, development, devops, and release management teams.
- Establish standardized testing processes, documentation, and reporting.
- Drive early quality involvement in development cycles.
- Define team structure, workflows, and ownership areas to maximize productivity.
- Provide risk assessments and clear quality sign-off on releases.
- Optimize offshore productivity, resource allocation, and cross-team communication.
- Identify training needs and build a culture of continuous improvement.
- Perform Ad SDK testing to validate integration of major ad network SDKs, ad flow stability, rendering, latency, and attribution accuracy.
- 6–8+ years of QA experience, with at least 2–3 years managing offshore or remote teams.
- 3-4+ years of hands-on QA automation experience.
- Ability to write and review test automation code (Python, JavaScript, and/or Java).
- Experience overseeing both manual and automation QA functions.
- Solid understanding of automation frameworks (Selenium, Playwright, Postman/Newman, RestAssured, and/or similar).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
- Strong understanding of backend systems, APIs, and web portals.
- Experience working with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, etc.).
Good to Have
- Knowledge of ad networks, mediation platforms, or mobile ad rendering.
- Familiarity with ad Tech or mobile SDK integrations.
- Experience testing or managing mobile applications; understanding of iOS/Android device ecosystems.

Responsibilities:
- You will own QA strategy, test planning, and execution across backend, web portals, and Ad SDK integrations
- Manage a team of offshore QA comprising of Manual and Automation Engineers
- Ensure efficient collaboration with product, development, devops, and release management teams

- Integration of major ad network SDKs inside mobile games (e.g., AppLovin, Unity, Google, Vungle, IronSource, Liftoff, etc.)
- Rewarded video, interstitial, banner, MRAID, and playable ads
- Ad flow stability, rendering behavior, latency, and attribution accuracy
Qualifications for Position:
- 6–8+ years of QA experience, with at least 2–3 years managing offshore or remote teams
- 3-4+ years of hands-on QA automation experience
- Ability to write and review test automation code (Python, JavaScript, and/or Java.)

The range listed is just one component of MobilityWare’s total compensation package for employees, which may include short- and long-term incentives and program-specific awards. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. Starting pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, certifications, location, business needs, or market demands. This range is based on a full-time position. This range may be modified in the future. The annual base salary pay range for this role is $140,000-$900,000.
