JOB PURPOSE

The QA Tester will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of Pricefx software implementations. This role involves conducting extensive technical testing, identifying and documenting bugs, and collaborating closely with technical and business teams to resolve issues. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of software systems and business processes, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for Pricefx software modules.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing across various environments.
  • Document defects clearly and thoroughly, including steps to reproduce, screenshots, and severity ratings.
  • Collaborate with developers and business analysts to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Validate bug fixes and ensure they meet acceptance criteria before deployment.
  • Maintain and update test documentation and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes.
  • Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives as part of an Agile team.
  • Ensure testing aligns with business requirements and user expectations.

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience in software testing, preferably with exposure to Pricefx or similar pricing/configuration platforms.
  • Strong technical knowledge of software systems and business workflows.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a methodical approach to test design and execution.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with QA tools and frameworks (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Selenium).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum environments is a plus.
  • Domain knowledge of the Pricefx software is extremely helpful but not required.
