Job Description

Thales, a global high-tech leader, is seeking an Industry Manager for its Radar Academy in Limours, France. This full-time, on-site role involves defining and implementing skill development roadmaps for the industry, creating new training modules and career paths, and identifying specific training tools. The manager will also oversee the EUREKA Industry program and ILUO method for skill tracking, and manage internal trainers and mentors. The ideal candidate has solid experience in industrial management roles, a background in training, and strong coordination skills, along with fluent English and in-depth knowledge of SRA.
Must Have:
  • Define and implement industry skill development roadmaps.
  • Create and manage new training modules and career paths.
  • Identify and deploy specific training tools and pedagogical methods.
  • Develop training content, including scenarios and supports.
  • Oversee the EUREKA Industry program and ILUO skill tracking method.
  • Monitor internal trainers, mentors, and animation teams.
  • Solid experience in EDM, WPM, IVVM, APRU, or island management.
  • Proven experience in the field of training.
  • Fluent English is required.
  • Demonstrated rigor, proactivity, and influence on key stakeholders.
  • Strong integration, adaptation, teamwork, and autonomous work capacity.
  • Solid knowledge of SRA and ability to coordinate with stakeholders.

Your daily life

Located 20 minutes from the Paris-Saclay technology hub, the site is one of the largest centers of excellence for surface radars. We contribute to developing, designing, integrating, and testing aerial surveillance radars dedicated to target detection and identification.

The position is based in Limours (site 40 minutes from Paris, 20 minutes from Massy, and accessible via our network of free shuttles from Massy, Pont de Sèvres, Vélizy, Versailles, Saint Quentin en Yvelines).

The Radar Academy is looking for an Industry Manager (Work Package Manager).

Your main missions will be to:

  • Define a skill development roadmap for the industry, based on Group Challenges and Competency Roadmaps (cf. Group Industry Academy and the SRA Learning Business Partner (LBP)).
  • Based on the Roadmap, define priorities in terms of creating new training modules and career paths. Participate in the creation of these modules and paths in conjunction with Internal Trainers, the LBP, and Digital Learning Managers (DLM).
  • Identify and define specific training tools and resources for industry professions, vary pedagogical methods, and use gamification:
  • Build the necessary use cases for accompanied practical situations with the support of operational staff and Digital Learning Managers (DLM) and assist trainers in creating exercises.
  • Participate in the creation of training content, define the framework, the pedagogical scenario, as well as the modalities and supports (PowerPoint, videos, animations/games, etc.).
  • Continue the implementation of the EUREKA Industry Path:
  • Launch meeting with new arrivals and their managers every 2 months.
  • Ensure the deployment and monitoring of these paths as well as assessments after 6 months.
  • Continue the implementation of the ILUO method for industry skill tracking.
  • Ensure the monitoring of:
  • Internal trainers: alerts on necessary renewals, identify needs and skill developments, feedback on internal trainer activities to feed talent reviews and evaluations.
  • Collaborators who can play a mentoring or tutoring role and animation duos.
  • Participate in the design of navigation in the @LAS portal for Radar Academy Paths, contribute to the creation of new pages corresponding to new approaches.

Your profile

Do you have solid experience as an EDM or WPM or IVVM or APRU manager or island manager and will you be able to build coordination with the Industry Managers of the different SRA sectors, in France and internationally?

Do you have experience in the field of training?

Are you recognized for your rigor, proactivity, and influence on key stakeholders?

Do you have a good capacity for integration and adaptation, allowing you to be comfortable working in a team and autonomously?

You will need to ensure coordination with APRU Managers, the SRA Learning & Culture team, and the contacts of the Group Industry Academy? A solid knowledge of SRA is required!

Fluent English is necessary!
