We are looking for a talented Real-Time VFX Artist to join our RPG Department, which develops RAID: Shadow Legends – a mobile MMORPG that combines battle collection mechanics and cutting-edge graphics in a dark fantasy setting. RAID is made in Unity, but the team also uses a variety of other tools for specific tasks: Maya for 3D modeling and UV, ZBrush and Blender for sculpting, Houdini for pyro, fluid, and destruction simulations, Substance Designer for texture generation, Substance Painter for baking and texturing, Xcode for profiling, and Amplify Shader Editor for prototyping shaders.

Creating concept designs and developing real-time VFX for mobile games in Unity
Profiling and optimizing effects and game assets created by you or by others
Customizing the VFX of game characters’ skills using internal tools
Creating 3D models and animations for VFX when needed
At least 2 years of work experience in the games industry
Knowledge of the principles of motion, anticipation, dynamics, and other aspects of animation
Firm knowledge of Unity editor
Experience creating VFX for games
Experience creating or writing VFX shaders in node-based editors
Knowledge of Houdini, Blender, Maya, or 3ds Max
3D modeling and 3D animation skills
Experience creating UV maps and baking them
Experience creating textures for VFX
In-depth experience with Particle Systems in Unity
English language skills at the intermediate level or higher
Understanding of mobile device hardware restrictions
Experience working with Houdini and Houdini Engine for Unity
Hands-on experience with Substance Painter and Designer
Experience working with GIT or similar version control systems
Officially registered full-time employment
