Role 

We are searching for an experienced and hands-on candidate to lead our recruitment marketing strategy globally, with a particular focus on the UK, Ireland, USA and India. This person will be an accomplished recruitment specialist who understands how to articulate our employer value proposition and can connect Version 1 to the best talent. We want to stand out in a competitive landscape for what we truly represent and need someone who can appreciate the nuances of working in a technology business where our people are our differentiator.  

This role reports to the Head of Talent Acquisition and works closely with the Head of Corporate Communications and the marketing team. 

Key responsibilities: 

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive recruitment marketing strategy aligned with business objectives that will be continuously evaluated and refined based on feedback and market dynamics.  
  • Work with Corporate Communications in the delivery of Version 1 brand awareness as an employer of choice through targeted marketing campaigns, localised events, careers focussed digital marketing and other initiatives.  
  • Collaborate with business units and talent acquisition teams to develop realistic and compelling job descriptions and recruitment collateral.  
  • Establish key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of employer branding initiatives, working to budget and report ongoing ROI of programmes using a data-driven approach - analysing metrics and generating insights to inform decision-making and optimise future strategies.  
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure alignment and support for recruitment efforts and share stories of our culture, people, and ambition in the right way to different audiences.  
  • Stay informed about emerging trends and tools in talent acquisition, including the use of AI, to drive innovation, efficiency and best practice. 
  • Manage resources efficiently, including budget allocation, tools and choice of partners needed to deliver direct impact and results.   
  • Manage submissions for tier I global employer and talent recognition awards to highlight our strengths and unique USP over competitors.  

Qualifications

Key skills and behaviours 

  • Minimum of 7 to 12 Years of experience is required.
  • Demonstrable experience in developing strategy and tactical plans for talent acquisition, including evidence of successfully managed recruitment programmes and deliverables. 
  • Excellent influencing and relationship building skills, comfortable as a business partner to talent acquisition teams, corporate communications and marketing and experienced in navigating large, fast-growing organisations.  
  • Proven ability with recruitment platforms such as Linked In, Glassdoor etc with solid examples of high-quality, accurate and original content creation and knowledge of marketing disciplines required to amplify a strong employer value proposition. 
  • Decisive and with obvious gravitas, ability to prioritise the most impactful activities using data to inform decisions and excelling at working on multiple projects with diverse stakeholder groups.  
  • A keen eye for detail and data – can easily interpret and manipulate data and adopt a strong metrics-oriented approach to measure success.
