They are seeking a Regional Account Manager for the UK & Ireland to expand market presence, focusing on new logo acquisition, managing the sales cycle, and driving revenue growth. This role involves collaborating with Sales Engineers and channel partners to develop and execute complex sales plans.
Must Have
- Develop and execute outbound prospecting campaigns.
- Drive new logo acquisition through a cross-vertical account set.
- Develop relationships and grow revenue from existing accounts.
- Collaborate with Sales Engineers and channel partners.
- Analyze and report on pipeline development, forecasting, and sales performance.
- Manage the full sales cycle, including product demos.
- Maintain compliance with Proofpoint’s sales processes.
- Proven experience in building pipeline, forecasting, and closing sales.
- Strong communication and presentation skills for articulating business value.
- Experience selling to CISO, IT management, and IT departments.
- Existing channel relationships and understanding of a two-tier channel model.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.

- Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM tools.

Proofpoint is seeking a Regional Account Manager to join our team and help expand our market presence across the UK &I. This position will report to the UK & Ireland Sales Manager for Regional Accounts and will focus on hunting new logo accounts, managing the sales cycle, and delivering revenue growth. You’ll work closely with Sales Engineers and channel partners to develop account strategies and execute complex sales plans.
Your Day To Day
- Develop and execute outbound prospecting campaigns to drive new logo acquisition through a cross-vertical account set from 751 – 2,500 users.
- Develop relationships and grow revenue from existing accounts.
- Collaborate with Sales Engineers and channel partners to develop and execute account strategies.
- Analyze and report on pipeline development, forecasting accuracy, and sales performance.
- Manage the full sales cycle, including planning, coordinating, and delivering product demos.
- Maintain compliance with Proofpoint’s sales processes and leverage corporate resources effectively.
Qualifications
- Required: Proven experience in building pipeline, forecasting, and closing sales
- Required: Strong communication and presentation skills in effectively articulating business value.
- Required: Experience selling to CISO, IT management and IT departments.
- Required: Existing channel relationships and understanding of a two-tier channel model
- Required: Strong skills in organisation, attention to detail and the ability to work independently
- Preferred: Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM tools.
