Purpose

Drive profitable growth by acquiring new business, retaining existing accounts, and leading a high-performing sales team. Champion Buckman’s values and ensure customer satisfaction through strategic account management and technical service excellence.

Education :

  • 8–12 years of progressive experience in industrial sales, preferably in pulp & paper or chemical applications

Mandate Experience :

  • Proven track record of managing complex accounts and leading teams
  • Strategic acumen to translate business goals into regional execution plans
  • Strong stakeholder engagement across technical, commercial, and executive levels
  • Change leadership and coaching capabilities to elevate team performance

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Retention

  • Achieve sales, profit, and safety goals across assigned territory
  • Implement 8 Business Management Standards to sustain and grow accounts
  • Execute service plans and communicate ROI of Buckman applications
  • Conduct routine site monitoring, testing, and data interpretation
  • Build trust-based relationships across customer levels

Account Management

  • Develop and maintain customer contact lists, system diagrams, and organizational charts
  • Create written plans (Service Plans, Evaluation Plans, Transition Workshops) with measurable outcomes
  • Conduct annual Business Reviews and Customer Satisfaction Surveys (CSS)
  • Use field statistical tools to manage evaluations, reduce attrition, and drive continuous improvement
  • Maintain Program Manuals and distribute regular service reports

Team Leadership

  • Manage and coach direct-report sales associates
  • Ensure associates implement account management programs effectively
  • Conduct performance reviews, goal setting, and development planning
  • Foster a culture of accountability, feedback, and professional growth

Internal Collaboration & Compliance

  • Lead customer-facing marketing and account activities
  • Manage Buckman assets and comply with internal processes
  • Fulfill reporting requirements and support team initiatives
