Job Description

This role is for a Sales Leader for Tableau, managing and developing a high-performing team of Sales Specialists focused on the Enterprise Market across industries like Telecom, Media, and Retail. You will play a strategic role in client and prospect meetings, working cross-functionally to deliver impactful results and drive Tableau’s growth.

Must Have:
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Sales Specialists to achieve and exceed revenue goals.
  • Participate and lead in client and prospect meetings, providing executive-level engagement and strategic support.
  • Recruit, hire, and train new team members, fostering continuous learning and development.
  • Coach direct reports on sales strategies, pipeline management, and deal execution.
  • Report accurately on sales activity and forecasts to senior sales management.
  • Drive demand generation initiatives and monitor sales activities to ensure consistent performance.
  • Develop and execute winning sales campaigns to expand Tableau’s presence across key accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong C-level relationships within enterprise organizations.
  • Collaborate across functions — Sales, Marketing, Pre-Sales, Partner Alliances, Services, Customer Success, and HR — to align strategy and drive success.
  • Handle client escalations effectively and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Proven success leading Account Executives or Sales Specialists in Software, Infrastructure, or Platform (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS) environments.
  • Strong track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
  • Expertise in sales coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
  • Exceptional presentation and executive engagement skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
  • Self-starter with a passion for driving results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience in Data & Analytics – essential.
  • Experience managing Enterprise accounts – essential.
  • Fluent in Portuguese and English.
