Job Description

Wabtec is seeking an experienced leader for its production plant in Plzen to head the Sales Administration team, playing a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction. This position involves leading, developing, and supporting the team, ensuring timely customer deliveries in collaboration with the planning department, and managing key customer communications and escalations. The role also includes data management in the ERP system, sales forecasting, and coordination with other Supply Chain leaders.
Must have:
  • Lead, develop, and support the Sales Administration team
  • Ensure timely customer deliveries in cooperation with the planning department
  • Communicate with key customers, resolve escalations, and build long-term relationships
  • Manage data in internal ERP and prepare sales forecasts
  • Coordinate with other Supply Chain leaders (purchasing, planning, logistics)
  • Prepare and monitor monthly, quarterly, and annual sales plans
  • Manage finished product inventory in line with the budget
  • Report KPIs directly to the Supply Chain Director, analyze deviations, and propose corrective actions
  • Actively participate in process improvement and company projects
  • Experienced manager with Supply Chain or Sales Administration background
  • Strong communicator capable of handling internal and external escalations
  • Customer, team, and results-oriented personality
  • Advanced English and Czech language skills
  • Ability to work with data (XLS) and ERP system
  • Willingness to travel (approx. 10% of working time)

In our production plant in Plzen, we are looking for an experienced leader who will lead the Sales Administration team and will be a key link in ensuring the satisfaction of our customers.

How can you contribute to the change and development of the company?

  • Leading, developing and supporting the Sales Administration team
  • Ensuring timely deliveries to customers in cooperation with the planning department
  • Communication with key customers, resolving escalations and building long-term relationships
  • Data management in internal ERP and preparation of sales forecasts
  • Coordination with other Supply Chain leaders (purchasing, planning, logistics)
  • Preparation and monitoring of monthly, quarterly and annual sales plans
  • Management of finished product inventory in accordance with the budget
  • KPI reporting – direct reporting to the Supply Chain Director, analysis of deviations and proposal of corrective measures
  • Active participation in process improvement and company projects

What will you need?

  • Experienced manager with practice in Supply Chain or Sales Administration
  • Strong communicator who can handle internal and external escalations
  • Customer, team and results-oriented personality
  • Advanced English and Czech (communication with corporate teams and customers)
  • Ability to work with data (XLS) and ERP system (after training)
  • Willingness to travel (approx. 10% of working time)
