Job Description

This position is responsible for the administration of all aspects of the Company’s Producer Compensation Plans and the accurate payment of field compensation as outlined in the Park Avenue Securities and GIAC schedules for business written by Registered Representatives, Guardian Brokers, and Field Representatives. Key responsibilities include managing compensation and contract terms for various financial professionals, ensuring accurate field compensation by interpreting producer contracts and schedules, performing analysis and resolving compensation inquiries, processing commission statements and adjustments, responding to commission-related issues, providing confidential compensation data to field partners and internal departments, and working with Agent Contracting and Licensing to ensure compliance with state license regulations.

This position is responsible for the administration of all aspects of the Company’s Producer Compensation Plans, and accurate payment of field compensation as outlined in the Park Avenue Securities, GIAC, schedules for business written by Registered Representatives, Guardian Brokers, and Field Representatives.

You will

Manage Registered Representatives (RRs), Professional Associates (PAs), Financial Professionals (FPs), and Broker compensation and contract terms.

  • Ensure accurate field compensation by interpreting Park Avenue Securities, and GIAC producer contracts and compensation schedules and contract terms

  • Perform analysis and provide resolution and clear verbal and written responses to compensation inquiries

  • Process paper, NSCC and IPS commission statements and adjustments

  • Respond to commission-related issues and questions, problem research and resolution and accurate dissemination of information

  • Provide confidential compensation data to field partners – Guardian Office Managers, Agency Accountants and Investment Specialists

  • Work closely with Guardian Agent Contracting and Licensing (ACL) to ensure that compensation is paid according to the constantly evolving and varying state license regulations

  • Provide confidential compensation information to various internal departments such as Legal, Audit and Agency Accounting Services

You have

  • The ability to identify the various types of commissions being reported (regular, 12b-1’s and mixed transactions) and product types (mutual fund, variable annuity, variable life, brokerage and RIA business

  • High mathematical competence

  • Quality oral communication skills

  • Very Good PC skills required (Excel, Word)

  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

  • Proven ability to work under pressure

Salary Range:

$50,270.00 - $75,402.50

The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
