Job summary
in Order to Iron Mountain’s continued growth on a global scale, we are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Commercial Director to lead and develop our Business Development team in France. This critical role will drive revenue and profitability growth within our corporate and public sector customers, while also championing customer retention and overall sales excellence.
The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker (building growth strategies), results-oriented leader, and a mentor capable of driving a culture of excellence, collaboration, customer centricity and accountability. This role involves overseeing and directly contributing to the team's sales activities, building strategy, expanding the team to achieve growth ambition and ensuring alignment with company goals and strategies.
Your role in our mission:
- Lead & Grow: Achieve ambitious revenue and profitability targets, overseeing a portfolio of enterprise accounts and public sector accounts.
- Strategic Execution: Define and implement comprehensive sales strategies for accelerated growth and market penetration.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, manage, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team, fostering productivity and collaboration, including active engagement in high-level client meetings and negotiations.
- Customer & Market Insight: Champion customer needs, contribute to exceptional customer experiences, and provide crucial market trend analysis to inform strategy.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner effectively with internal teams (Marketing, Operations, Product, Customer Service) to align efforts and maximize client value.
- Compliance: Ensure all sales activities adhere to company policies, legal regulations, and ethical standards

- Proven Sales Leadership: Substantial track record in sales management, particularly in new business development within a complex B2B service or digital solutions industry.
- Strategic Acumen: Demonstrated experience in developing and executing regional sales strategies, driving growth across multi-territory settings.
- Team Development: Exceptional leadership, coaching, and motivational skills, with experience managing distributed teams.
- Relationship Building: Proven ability to cultivate strong, long-term relationships with C-level executives, key stakeholders (internal and external), and foster customer loyalty.
- Commercial Acumen: Strong financial understanding, negotiation skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in written and spoken French (essential) and proficient in English.
- Resilience: Energetic, dynamic, tenacious, and resilient, with a proven ability to deliver results under pressure
