As Reddit expands internationally, a sales leader is sought to develop the Mid-Market Sales business in the Benelux region. The role involves leading sales efforts for brand partnerships in Belgium, Netherlands, and Luxembourg. Responsibilities include setting sales strategies, exceeding revenue targets, leveraging industry knowledge, collaborating with Product and Marketing, and representing Reddit at industry events. The ideal candidate has a customer-centric approach with strong sales rigor and pipeline management. The role requires working from the Amsterdam office three days per week.

As we continue to embark on our international expansion, we are searching for a talented sales leader to grow and develop our Mid-Market Sales business in the Benelux region. We are looking for a leader who will champion our culture and values for our EMEA Sales team.

This role offers a unique opportunity to lead the Mid-Market Sales org supporting our brand partnerships in Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg, where we are still in the early stages of building our presence. The leader we’re looking for has deep market knowledge from years of navigating the digital marketing ecosystem, has successfully built and delivered on a Scaled book of business, and can effectively coach, support, and motivate teams of sellers to succeed within ambiguity. You would be a key pillar to Reddit’s business strategy as we forge world-class partnerships with regional brands.

This role requires working from our Amsterdam office three days per week.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Define the playbook: Set the sales strategy and tactics for your markets, implementing a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth from Mid-Market clients in Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg
  • Build a strong sales culture, leading your team to exceed established revenue targets and role model Challenger sales and sales rigor
  • Leverage your industry knowledge and relationships with key decision-makers to support your team’s sales efforts
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market dynamics, and the competitive landscape to identify new opportunities and ensure the team is delivering the highest impact
  • Collaborate with Product and Marketing to provide feedback and insights, drive product enhancements and new product launches, and align on market positioning
  • Partner with Sales Ops and Finance to develop financial and operating targets, ensuring alignment with strategic plan
  • Represent Reddit in the region by speaking at key industry events
  • Lead on broader EMEA mid market projects to identify opportunities for further acceleration and jointly build scalable processes

Required Skills & Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in digital media sales, demonstrated success in building a scaled book of business and overachieving sales targets. Leads by example, defining the playbook by which their team will operate.
  • Strong people leader with 4+ years leading sales teams, balancing retention with attracting new talent. Passionate and inclusive people manager who is dedicated to fostering an inclusive team culture.
  • Key understanding of the Mid-Market sales channel in Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg
  • Has a customer-centric approach, a strong sales mentality, and commercial acumen
  • Strong sales rigor & pipeline management. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply those insights to overcome or anticipate headwinds and ensure the team is working on top-priority opportunities.
  • Experience building high-performing teams, Can inspire and motivate relentless optimism
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships that will further the success of the org and its clients
  • Fluency in both English and Dutch
  • A passion for Reddit
