Job Description

This role focuses on Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) to align customer sales with factory production capacities, aiming to maximize sales recognition while minimizing inventory. Responsibilities include managing monthly medium/long-term planning, conducting scenario planning, influencing inventory levels, incorporating product lifecycle factors into demand plans, and preparing suppliers for long-term demand. The manager will lead the S&OP process, deploy agreed plans, and drive supply chain improvements.
Good To Have:
  • Master’s Degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering or equivalent.
  • ASCM CSCP certification.
Must Have:
  • Manage the monthly medium/long term planning process to ensure customer demand can be fulfilled.
  • Conduct scenario planning and risk analysis.
  • Influence integral inventory levels to realize availability targets.
  • Incorporate product phase in/phase out, promotions, regulatory clearances into the demand plan.
  • Prepare suppliers/factories for long term demand plans.
  • Define and agree on availability performance and inventories.
  • Lead the S&OP process by teaming up with markets, Integrated Supply Chain, product management, and program PMO.
  • Deploy the single agreed plan to all functions.
  • Initiate and participate in Therapeutic Care and supply chain improvement processes.
  • Define opportunities for improvement driven by operational excellence, customer satisfaction and cost reduction.
  • Contribute to the Supply Chain Management strategy for Therapeutic Care.
  • Develop and align the S&OP policy as part of the SCM strategy.
  • Participate in the supply chain strategy.
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 8+ years’ experience in S&OP in a business utilizing demand planning, forecasting and data analytics.
  • Experience in multiple areas of Supply Chain and working in a cross-functional organization.
  • Ability to influence and inspire change within different areas of the organization.

In this role, you have the opportunity to

Focus on Sales & Operations Planning to balance the sales to customers with production capacities of our factories to maximize sales recognition with the lowest possible inventory levels.

You are responsible for

  • Managing the monthly medium/long term planning process in order to ensure customer demand can be fulfilled.
  • Conducting scenario planning and risk analysis.
  • Influencing the integral inventory levels of the Therapeutic Care with the objective to realize the availability targets.
  • Incorporating product phase in/phase out, promotions, regulatory clearances and other factors into the demand plan.
  • Preparing suppliers/factories for long term demand plans.
  • Defining and agreeing on availability performance and inventories.
  • On behalf of the Therapeutic Care, lead the S&OP process, by teaming up with the markets, Integrated Supply Chain, product management, and program PMO.
  • Deploying the single agreed plan to all functions.
  • Initiating and participating in Therapeutic Care and supply chain improvement processes.
  • Defining opportunities for improvement driven by operational excellence, customer satisfaction and cost reduction.
  • Contributing to the Supply Chain Management strategy for Therapeutic Care.
  • As part of the SCM strategy, develop and align the S&OP policy.
  • Participating in the supply chain strategy.

Emergency Care Business Unit with the objective to perfectly deliver products to our customers with the highest quality on time and against minimal cost.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s Degree preferred in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering or equivalent preferred, ASCM CSCP certification a plus.
  • 8 plus years’ experience in S&OP in a business utilizing demand planning, forecasting and data analytics.
  • Experience in multiple areas of Supply Chain and working in a cross-functional organization.
  • Influencing and inspiring change within different areas of the organization, supply chain, commercial functions and other business groups.
