This role is for a skilled Accountant in Zelis' India Shared Services Center, responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance for US operations.
Good To Have:
  • CPA certification or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior experience working in a Shared Services Center preferred.
Must Have:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date Financial records for US operations.
  • Prepare and analyze Financial statements and reports for Management.
  • Reconcile Accounts and ensure the accuracy of Financial data.
  • Assist with Budgeting and Forecasting processes.
  • Perform Periodic Bank reconciliations and other General Ledger reconciliations.
  • Prepare Tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate Financial reporting and analysis.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives and identify opportunities to streamline accounting procedures.
  • Provide support for internal and external audits.
  • Ensure timely and accurate closure of the Month-end process.
  • Support with the acquire to retire, order to cash, procure to pay, and record to report processes.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the Accounting field.
  • Knowledge of US GAAP and tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of sophisticated ERP environments.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic.
  • Expectation to work primarily in the Zelis-India office on a regular basis.
  • Willingness to work outside of normal business hours as required to collaborate with teams outside of India.

Position Overview

Zelis is a leading US-based company that operates in Healthcare Information Technology. We have established a Shared Services Center in India to provide Accounting and Financial services to our US-based operations.

We are currently seeking a skilled Accountant to join our Shared Services Team in India. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date Financial records for the US operations of Zelis Inc.
  • Prepare and analyze Financial statements and reports for Management.
  • Reconcile Accounts and ensure the accuracy of Financial data.

Education and Professional Experience:

Required:
