Job Description

This role is responsible for developing and executing the company's commercial plan within the assigned zone (private and official schools) for preschool, primary, and secondary levels. It involves attending to and following up with user schools and prospects, as well as achieving the sales objectives set by the company. Key responsibilities include client visits, analyzing sales opportunities, applying the company's sales model, daily and weekly planning in NEXUS, managing samples, administering fixed funds, analyzing growth potential, and attending to booksellers and distributors.

  • Perform sample inventory and report results.
  • Properly manage fixed funds and submit expense reports.
  • Analyze zone growth potential (horizontal/vertical).
  • Create sales projections based on current and new adoptions.
  • Identify key schools for personalized strategic plans.
  • Analyze company vs. competitor results (qualitative/quantitative).
  • Present seasonal results by business line when required.
  • Provide attention, presentation, and training to booksellers and distributors.
  • High school, completed technical career, or unfinished bachelor's degree.
  • English level: B1-B2 spoken.
  • At least 2 years of experience in field sales and face-to-face sales.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Proficiency in Office software.
  • Planning and time management skills.
  • Strategic thinking ability.
  • Process management skills.
  • Ability to constantly evaluate results.

Job Title: Sales Representative Macmillan Education

Location(s): Hermosillo, Sonora

Objective of the position

Responsible for developing and fulfilling the company's commercial plan within their assigned zone (private schools and official schools) at preschool, primary, and secondary levels, providing attention and follow-up to user schools, as well as prospects, and fulfilling the sales objectives set by the company.

Functions and responsibilities:

  • Perform and execute the client visit plan (schools) corresponding to the assigned zone, analyze sales opportunities in each institution, and develop a strategy to cover those opportunities.
  • Responsible for knowing the company's objectives and commercial plan and fulfilling each of its phases (update, prospecting, sampling, and closing) in the assigned zone.
  • Know and apply the company's Sales Model and apply it in work with each institution, managing to interview decision-makers in their market.
  • Perform daily and weekly planning in the NEXUS tool, verify and update information at all times in both the NEXUS tool and their Registration Sheets, daily capture the information collected during their client visits, capture adoptions from both competitors and the company in NEXUS (closing and update phase) based on the lists collected.
  • Perform sample inventory and deliver the result to Sales Supervision and Management.
  • Properly manage their fixed fund and submit their expense report on the days indicated by Sales Management, prepare and deliver the car logbook to the Region's sales assistant.
  • Analyze the growth potential of their zone (horizontal/vertical), make sales projections taking into account adoptions to maintain, as well as new ones, identify key schools in their zone to work on a personalized strategic plan, analyze company vs. competitor results (qualitative/quantitative), present seasonal results by business line when required.
  • Attention to Booksellers and Distributors including presentation and training on new projects.

Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

  • High school, completed technical career or unfinished bachelor's degree
  • English level: B1-B2 spoken
  • At least 2 years of experience in field sales and face-to-face sales
