Job Summary

The Sales Specialist for Concrete will manage existing sales accounts, develop new markets, and ensure customer satisfaction by providing timely product solutions and addressing inquiries. Responsibilities include forecasting sales, monitoring project updates, managing credit, overseeing sales operations from order to delivery, assisting with collections, and ensuring efficient inventory management of Sika concrete products. The role requires utilizing Salesforce for all sales activities.

Must Have

  • Maintain existing sales accounts and achieve sales budget.
  • Develop new accounts and target markets.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through regular calls and product provision.
  • Monitor construction projects and analyze market information.
  • Secure accounts with proper credit recommendations and provide price quotations.
  • Monitor sales operations from ordering to delivery.
  • Assist collection department for timely receivables.
  • Monitor Sika concrete products for efficient inventory and storage.
  • Respond to and follow up sales enquiries.
  • Utilize Salesforce for sales activities.
  • Graduate of B.S. Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Architecture or related course.
  • At least 3 to 5 years of working experience in construction or distribution industry.
  • Technical selling experience.
  • Driving skills (with valid professional driver’s license).
  • Strong people skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Negotiation skills.

  • Experience working in a multinational company.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Maintains existing sales accounts and assists the department in forecasting and achieving the sales budget.

2. Maximize effort in developing new accounts and target markets in assigned sales areas through product presentations, seminars and trial mixes to clients.

3. Ensures customer satisfaction by regular sales calls, providing the right products at the right time and quantity and by attending to customer inquiries/complaints/problems.

4. Updates self with existing and upcoming construction projects; analyzes market information and prepares strategies, plans and sales forecasts.

5. Ensures that all accounts in her/his areas are secured with proper credit recommendations; gives price quotations according to the given range/limit.

6. Monitors the flow of sales operations in every customer – from sales ordering to delivery.

7. Monitors and assist the collection department to ensure the collection of receivables and counter receipt of sales invoices and delivery receipts on time.

8. Responsible to monitor Sika concrete products handled by distributors and customers to ensure efficient inventory management and proper storage of Sika products.

9. Responds immediately to and follow up sales enquiries using appropriate methods.

10. Utilizes Salesforce for all sales activities (i.e. agenda, record opportunities, quotes).

Job Requirements:

Education:

Graduate of B.S. Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Architecture or any four (4) year related course.

Work Experience:

With at least three (3) to five (5) years of working experience in construction or distribution industry.

Experience working in a multinational company is an advantage.

Skills:

Preferably with technical selling experience and driving skills (with valid professional driver’s license).

Possesses a strong people skills, excellent communication and negotiation skills.
