Rippling is seeking a Sales Strategy & Operations Manager to support its Sales organization. This role involves partnering with sales leadership to drive new logo acquisition, cross-sell, and post-sales performance across all Rippling products. The position is analytical and operational, focusing on reporting, diagnosing business performance, building operational plans, and executing strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate is analytical, strategic, execution-focused, comfortable with ambiguity, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively. This is a high-impact role with broad visibility, offering the chance to shape critical initiatives across Rippling's diverse product portfolio.
Must have:
  • 5+ years of experience in Sales Strategy, Finance, or Sales Analytics
  • Experience leading, developing, and building high-performing teams
  • Excellent Excel, SQL, BI, and Salesforce skills
  • Proactive self-starter with proven impact on sales teams
  • Excellent cross-functional stakeholder management
  • Experience driving cross-functional initiatives with speed and efficiency

About the role


Rippling is looking for a standout Sales Strategy & Operations Manager to support the success of our Sales organization across all Rippling products. You’ll be a strategic partner to sales leadership, helping to drive new logo acquisition, cross-sell, and post-sales performance across our full suite of products.


This role is both analytical and operational; you’ll spend your time reporting on and diagnosing the state of the business, while also building operational plans and working cross-functionally to execute strategic initiatives. The scope of this role spans multiple product lines and segments, offering a unique opportunity to influence the trajectory of a high-growth, multi-product sales organization.


The ideal candidate is analytical, strategic, and execution-focused, with experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments. You’re someone who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys solving complex problems, and can operate both independently and collaboratively.

What you will do

  • Partner with Sales, Finance, Product and Marketing leaders to define and refine sales strategies across Rippling’s product lines
  • Build and manage operational plans, including sales targets, headcount plans, and resource allocation
  • Monitor and report on key performance metrics to keep a pulse on the business and inform decision-making
  • Own and manage the Sales Operations weekly forecast process
  • Analyze the impact of new product launches and recommend sales org changes to optimize performance
  • Identify and implement process improvements to drive efficiency and effectiveness across the Sales organization
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Product, Finance, and Sales to ensure alignment and execution

What you will need

  • 5+ years of work experience in Sales Strategy, Finance, Sales Analytics, or another related field
  • Experience leading, developing, and building a high performing team
  • Excellent Excel, SQL, BI, Salesforce experience
  • Proactive, self-starter that is experienced in delivering a measurable impact to sales and sales teams
  • Excellent cross-functional stakeholder management
  • Experience driving cross-functional initiatives forward with speed and efficiency
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
