Job Summary

As Head of Agency Sales, you will be responsible for all retail media activities on the agency side and position idealo as a strategic partner for media, performance, and retail media agencies. You will build our agency ecosystem, develop framework partnerships, activate budgets across all relevant channels, and ensure that agencies integrate idealo as a fixed component of their media planning. You will lead the Agency Sales team and develop scalable GTM models.

Must Have

  • Build and lead the Agency Sales team, and develop the GTM strategy for agency partners (media, performance, retail media agencies)
  • Establish framework agreements and strong activation partnerships
  • Responsible for activating agency budgets across onsite and offsite
  • Develop agency-specific enablement offerings: Education, Tools, Best Practices, Reporting
  • Represent idealo in pitches, strategy meetings, and retail media roadshows
  • Build a scalable partner ecosystem including incentive models
  • Revenue responsibility for the entire Agency segment including forecasting & pipeline management
  • Cooperative collaboration with the Brand Sales team to leverage overlapping potential

  • Developing agency-specific enablement offerings: Education, Tools, Best Practices, Reporting.
  • Representing idealo in pitches, strategy meetings, and retail media roadshows.

Job Requirements

What you bring with you

  • Profound experience in media agency, platform, or retail media environments with a focus on Agency Relations.
  • Deep understanding of agency structures, purchasing models, and incentive mechanisms.
  • Expertise in programmatic activation and data-driven campaigns.
  • Leadership skills and experience in building teams.
  • Experience in building or expanding agency partnerships and ecosystems.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder skills as well as high negotiation confidence.
  • Will to build and shape a new business area.
  • Intrinsic motivation and a proactive mindset.
  • Fluent English and German language skills.
