Paytm is seeking a Sales Team Lead for its Transit division in Hubli. The role involves developing and implementing business plans and sales strategies to achieve company goals. Key responsibilities include fostering a culture of success, managing sales teams and resources, defining sales force structure, and coordinating training programs to enhance staff potential. The role also requires managing customer expectations, ensuring high customer satisfaction, and refining sales processes to drive desired outcomes. The ideal candidate will educate merchants on the benefits of Swipe machines (EDC), convert them, and manage their accounts. The position emphasizes aggressive execution of sales strategies and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Must have:
  • 3+ years of distribution sales experience in fintech, banking, or EDC sales.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to aggressively manage sales strategy execution.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Educating merchants about Swipe machine benefits.
  • Converting merchants and managing their accounts.

About the Role :
1. Develop plans and strategies for developing business and achieving the company's sales goals.
2. Create a culture of success and ongoing business and goal achievement.
3. Manage the sales teams, operations and resources to deliver growth.
4. Define optimal sales force structure.
5. Define and coordinate sales training programs that enable staff to achieve their potential and support company sales objectives.
6. Manage customer expectations and contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction.
7. Define sales processes that drive desired sales outcomes and identify improvements.
8. 3+ yrs of experience of Distribution sales in fintech, Banking/ Sales, and EDC Sales.
9. Going to the Merchant and educating him/her about the benefits of the Swipe machine (EDC) converting them and managing their accounts.
10. Exceptional communication, presentation skills and relationship-building skills.
11. Ability to aggressively manage the successful execution of a sales strategy.
12. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Education: Graduation/ Post Graduation preferred.
