Job Summary

The Scrum Master facilitates value delivery and strengthens Agile ways of working across delivery teams. This role involves coaching teams on Scrum principles, optimizing ceremonies, and driving continuous improvement through data-driven decisions. The Scrum Master also manages software releases, resolves process bottlenecks, and ensures compliance with Agile standards. They mentor Product Owners and stakeholders, fostering alignment and shared ownership of outcomes within an international, innovative environment.

Must Have

  • Facilitate value delivery and promote an Agile mindset.
  • Coach delivery teams in applying the Agile framework and optimizing Scrum ceremonies.
  • Identify and resolve complex process bottlenecks and cross-team dependencies.
  • Plan, track, and replan software releases.
  • Ensure strict compliance with Agile standards and reporting requirements.
  • Mentor Product Owners and stakeholders in backlog management and prioritization.
  • Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach in a multi-team environment.
  • Deep understanding of Scrum and Agile delivery frameworks.
  • Strong coaching, facilitation, and mentoring abilities.
  • Proficiency in Agile metrics and flow-based delivery insights.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement capabilities.

Good to Have

  • Certification(s) such as CSM, PSM, ICP-ACC, or equivalent.

Job Description

Scrum Master

We are seeking a Scrum Master to facilitate value delivery, strengthen Agile ways of working, and enable predictable, high-quality outcomes across one or more delivery teams. In this role, you will act as a change agent for Agile transformation, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, data-driven decision-making, and disciplined adherence to Scrum practices.

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Agile Coaching & Team Facilitation

  • Facilitate value delivery and promote an Agile mindset within a dedicated delivery team, ensuring alignment with core Scrum principles and practices.
  • Coach multiple delivery teams in applying the Agile framework, optimizing Scrum ceremonies (e.g., Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Retrospectives) to enhance value creation, decision-making quality, and self-organization.
  • Provide hands-on training and guidance to teams when changes occur in the Scrum framework or Agile processes.

Process Optimization & Delivery Flow

  • Identify, analyze, and drive resolution of complex local process bottlenecks and cross-team dependencies, improving internal flow and reducing delivery friction.
  • Coach product teams on leveraging advanced delivery metrics (e.g., cycle time, lead time, failure demand) to boost forecasting accuracy and improve overall delivery performance.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement by designing and facilitating targeted actions within and across teams, supported by data and structured retrospective outcomes.

Release Planning & Delivery Management

  • Plan, track, and replan software releases for projects within a squad or product domain, ensuring timely deployment and realization of expected business benefits.
  • Actively manage and communicate inter-team dependencies and associated risks, ensuring alignment and predictable delivery across the immediate product domain.

Governance & Standards Adoption

  • Ensure strict compliance with Agile standards, tooling conventions, and reporting requirements, serving as the primary enforcer of governance practices at the team level.
  • Promote high-fidelity adoption of the Agile delivery model across teams, advocating for consistent use of agreed tools and processes.

Stakeholder & Product Collaboration

  • Serve as a trusted mentor to Product Owners, Functional Analysts, Scrum Master Colleagues and other key stakeholders, providing guidance in advanced backlog management, value-based prioritization, and translating strategy into executable work.
  • Foster strong alignment between delivery teams and product stakeholders to ensure focus, transparency, and shared ownership of outcomes.

HOW TO SUCCEED / YOUR PROFILE

  • Proven experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or similar role in a multi-team Agile environment.
  • Deep understanding of Scrum, Agile delivery frameworks, and cross-team delivery dynamics.
  • Strong coaching, facilitation, and mentoring abilities with experience driving behavioral and process change.
  • Proficiency in Agile metrics and flow-based delivery insights.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to remove impediments and navigate complex dependency landscapes.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
  • Certification(s) such as CSM, PSM, ICP-ACC, or equivalent are an advantage.
