Job Description
Dream11 seeks an SDE 3 for its ML & Data Platform. This role involves the entire project lifecycle, from design and architecture to deployment and monitoring. You'll build scalable, resilient platforms for Big Data and Machine Learning challenges, develop features in a distributed microservices environment (AWS & GCP using technologies like Spark, Flink, Cassandra, etc.), and mentor junior engineers. The platform handles petabytes of data and serves 60 million RPM. Experience with Java or Python and designing Big Data/ML services is essential.
Must Have:
- 7+ years experience in OOP (Java/Python)
- 2+ years in Big Data & ML service design/building/optimization
- AWS/GCP experience
- Microservices development
- Full project lifecycle ownership

Your Role:
- Owning the full project lifecycle, from designing and architecture to development, deployment, and monitoring
- Investigating issues, incidents, and outages, performing root cause analysis, and preparing detailed reports
- Building resilient, scalable platforms to solve Big Data and Machine Learning challenges efficiently
- Developing scalable features for Data and Machine Learning in a distributed microservices environment
- Mentoring engineers and ensuring that high standards and best practices are maintained throughout the development process
Qualifiers:
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in any object oriented programming language, preferably Java or Python
- 2+ years of experience in designing, building, and optimising Big Data and Machine Learning services
- Practical experience with AWS or GCP
