Job Description

This role involves assisting in the design and development of security solutions, services, and expertise for NXP's business lines and R&D. Responsibilities include building and maintaining security mechanisms, defining and managing security requirements, and specifying innovative product security solutions. The architect will also design and review product security architectures, conduct detailed implementation reviews, perform attack modeling, and define security mechanisms in hardware, firmware, and protocols. Key tasks include planning and executing pre-silicon vulnerability analysis, analyzing security defects, and ensuring high-quality, scalable, and cost-competitive technology delivery.
Must have:
  • Assist in the design and development of security solutions, services, and security expertise.

  • Responsible for specification of innovative and disruptive product security solutions.
  • Design and review of product security architectures.
  • Detail implementation reviews (RTL, firmware code), attack modeling and definition of security mechanisms.
  • Plan, coordinate and execute pre-silicon vulnerability analysis (VA).
  • Analyze root cause of security defects and vulnerabilities and ensure high quality, scalable, cost-competitive technologies.

Job Details

Assist in the design and development of security solutions (IPs, sub-systems, system security solutions), services (Vulnerability Analysis, Certification) and security expertise to the business lines and to other R&D organizations across NXP. Build, maintain and link security mechanisms to functional requirements to define and manage security requirements. Responsible for specification of innovative and disruptive product security solutions. Design and review of product security architectures. Detail implementation reviews (RTL, firmware code), attack modeling and definition of security mechanisms in hardware, firmware, protocols, etc. Plan, coordinate and execute pre-silicon vulnerability analysis (VA). Analyze root cause of security defects and vulnerabilities and ensure the delivery of high quality, scalable, cost-competitive technologies and supply.

Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Electronics, Electrical or Computer Engineering, foreign equivalent or related field.

Required skills:

Position requires experience in:

  • Digital Signal Processing;
  • Verilog;
  • C/C++, Python;
  • MATLAB;
  • Analysis Side-Channel;
  • Digital System Design; and
  • Embedded System Security (including e.g. Cryptography).
