Job Description

Nexters seeks a Senior 2D Animator proficient in Spine to independently handle the full animation cycle, from asset export (Photoshop) and rigging to character and object animation, including technical implementation and project optimization. The role involves creating effects in Spine/Unity and documenting animation quality standards. The ideal candidate is a self-starter capable of problem-solving and improving animation workflows. Mentorship of junior colleagues is also part of the role. Experience with Adobe Animate and Unity is a plus.

About your role
We are looking for an experienced 2D Animator (Senior) to take full ownership of character and object animations in Spine. We need a self-sufficient specialist ready to work autonomously without active training. This project is ideal for those who want to deepen their expertise in animation, work with effects in Spine and Unity, and share knowledge by mentoring less experienced colleagues.

What you’ll be doing
Carrying out the full animation cycle in Spine:
- Export assets from Photoshop
- Rigging
- Character and object animation from animation concept to technical implementation
- Project optimization
Creating effects in Spine / Unity (a plus!)
Technical documenting animation quality standards for the project
