Job Description
We are looking for an animation specialist and CG director who wants to challenge themselves to create world-class visuals.
Expected Responsibilities
- Character and creature animation using hand-keying and motion capture
- Animatics design and quality control at each phase (primary/secondary/finish)
- Camera work and direction planning for cutscenes and event movies
- Motion capture recording (performer direction, recording supervision, data cleanup)
- Mentoring and technical guidance for junior animators
- Progress management, schedule, and quality checks for external partners/freelancers
- Pipeline design and workflow improvement proposals in the initial project stages
*The scope of responsibility will be adjusted based on your experience and aspirations.

Required Skills
- Experience in animation production for games, anime, and pachinko machines using Maya, 3ds Max, etc. (5+ years)
Welcome Skills
- Real-time animation implementation and Sequencer production in Unreal Engine / Unity
- Experience in layout and previz design at the animatics stage
- Knowledge of facial animation, rigging, cloth/hair simulation
- Experience in DCC tool development and scripting using Python/MEL/Blueprint, etc.
- Team management, evaluation, and training experience for teams of 10 or more people
- English communication experience with global teams and overseas vendors
- Interest in and practical application of latest technologies (machine learning motion analysis, virtual production, etc.)
- Knowledge and experience beyond animation, such as modeling

Trial period: 3 months
Salary
Annual salary 4,080,000 JPY ~
- Includes deemed overtime pay for 45 hours per month (85,376 JPY ~).
- Overtime exceeding this will be paid in full.
- Determined according to company regulations, considering experience and ability.
Work Location
This position will be based at the Ebisu, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo office.
Working Hours
Flextime system (core time 13:00-17:00)
Standard working hours per day: 8 hours
Holidays
- Complete two-day weekend system (Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays)
- 120 annual holidays
- If events fall on weekends, attendance on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays may occur.
- In such cases, compensatory leave must be applied for and taken by the following month.
