TelevisaUnivision is seeking a Senior Audio Producer to lead the creation, editing, programming, and delivery of high-quality audio content, including live shows, podcasts, and digital pieces. This role involves supervising all stages of the creative, technical, and editorial process, defining content strategy, and collaborating with talent and editors. Must have:
  • Lead editorial meetings and define creative vision for content
  • Supervise episode production from ideation to publication
  • Edit and review scripts, audio content, and ensure editorial and technical quality
  • Coordinate recording sessions with hosts and guests, ensuring high-quality audio
  • Train and accompany talent in the development of their narrative skills
  • Plan and organize the editorial and publication calendar
  • Implement efficient workflows supported by digital and AI tools
  • Analyze performance metrics to optimize audio strategy and engagement
  • Collaborate with other areas (marketing, development, product) to align initiatives
  • Manage the team's digital assets (scripts, audios, music, transcriptions)
  • Develop promotion and distribution strategies to maximize content reach
  • Ensure products meet editorial and business objectives
  • 5–7+ years of experience in radio, audio, or podcasting production
  • Full proficiency in Spanish (oral and written)
  • Experience with audio editing software such as Avid ProTools, Adobe Audition, Logic Pro, among others
  • Knowledge of music programming tools like MusicMaster, GSelector, or Selector
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and digital distribution
  • Practical experience with AI tools applied to content production
  • Ability to work under pressure and lead creative teams in dynamic environments
  • Background in communication, audiovisual production, journalism, or related fields
  • Leadership skills, editorial vision, strategic thinking, and results orientation
  • Technical knowledge to collaborate with development and technology teams

About the role and the team:

TelevisaUnivision is looking for a Senior Audio Producer to join our growing team. This position will report directly to the Digital Content area leader and will play a key role in original audio production, overseeing all stages of the creative, technical, and editorial process. The Senior Audio Producer will be integrated into the production team and will be responsible for leading the creation, editing, programming, and delivery of high-quality audio content, including live shows, podcasts, and digital pieces. Additionally, they will be a key player in defining the content strategy, establishing narrative standards, and collaborating with talent, editors, and other support areas. The main objective of this position is to elevate audio storytelling, drive innovation in formats, and contribute to the growth of our audiences on digital and mobile platforms.
