Job Summary
ByteDance seeks a Senior Backend Software Engineer for its Customer Service Platform (CSP) in Seattle. The CSP integrates product technology resources for internal customer service, aiming to provide efficient self-service and agent tools. Responsibilities include developing large-scale software systems for ByteDance apps, improving system architecture for stability and performance, collaborating with cross-functional teams, designing software solutions based on user needs, and updating/enhancing existing software. The ideal candidate possesses a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, experience with Java and Golang, and a deep understanding of distributed middleware components (MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, MQ).

Job Description
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $180300 - $337250 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location.
