Job Summary
Join a small design team on an unannounced project with a Senior team to help them define the identity, bestiary, and world, under the responsibility of the project's artistic director. You will collaborate with the artistic director and other artistic team members to conceptualize and develop unique character designs, create character and environment concept art, and ensure artistic consistency throughout the modeling process.
Must Have
- Collaborate with the artistic director and artistic team to conceptualize unique character designs.
- Create character and environment concept art: sketches, illustrations, and key visuals.
- Follow character production to maintain artistic consistency through reviews and paintovers.
- Act as a professional interlocutor for more junior profiles.
- Excellent skills in 2D tools (Illustrator, Photoshop).
- Good skills in composition & lighting.
- Strong artistic culture.
- Understand project constraints to deliver within production deadlines.
- Proactive and autonomous, managing tasks from start to finish.
- Able to give and receive feedback and share best practices.
- Open to feedback.
- Understand other teams' needs and technical constraints for best in-game renderings.
- Able to share with junior profiles.
