Job Summary

The Senior Director/Vice President for Global Capability Center (GCC) will lead go-to-market strategies, client advisory, and program delivery oversight. This role involves crafting value propositions, leading client engagement from identification to closure, and running diagnostic workshops for optimal operating models. Responsibilities also include building practice, mentoring teams, monitoring market intelligence, and ensuring compliance. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in GCC/GBS, strong consulting skills, and executive presence.

Must Have

  • 10+ years advising or building GCCs/GBSs across at least two regions (US – MUST /EU/ APAC)
  • Proven business-case modelling, operating-model design, location analysis, and program governance
  • Hands-on involvement in legal/FDI filings, real-estate selection, vendor negotiations, and hiring strategy
  • Comfortable shaping board-level strategy and negotiating multi-million-dollar deals
  • Published POVs, conference speaking, or industry panel participation on GCC topics
  • Familiarity with Indian DPDP Act, STPI rules, and state incentive schemes
  • Network with site-selection consultants, staffing firms, or industry bodies (e.g., NASSCOM, CII)

  • Go-to-Market Leadership: Craft value propositions, pitch decks, and thought-leadership assets that resonate with global mid-market & enterprise clients. Lead client identification to closure lifecycle, working in collaboration with global sales and marketing teams.
  • Client Advisory: Run diagnostic workshops covering strategy, cost-to-value, location & talent assessments. Recommend optimal operating models (BOT, JV, Captive, Managed) and vendor ecosystems.
  • Program Delivery Oversight: Create high-level GCC roadmaps: entity/incorporation, SEZ/STPI/DPDP compliance, real estate, talent, tech stack. Govern partner teams, track KPIs & OKRs through ramp-up to steady state.
  • Practice Building: Mentor consulting analysts / managers; standardize playbooks & financial models. Maintain partnerships with legal, tax, real estate, and HR firms for one-stop solutioning.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor policy shifts, increal estatemes, wage/attrition trends, and Tier-2 city developments, feed insights into service offerings.
  • Deep GCC pedigree: 10+ years advising or building GCCs/GBSs across at least two regions (US – MUST /EU/ APAC).
