Job Description

This Senior Financial Analyst role supports EMEA and America’s business operations within the international finance team. Responsibilities include reviewing customer contracts for revenue recognition (US GAAP), partnering with regional teams for monthly financial forecasts, variance analysis, quarterly/annual reporting, and budgeting. The role also involves cashflow forecasting, sales commission calculation, SOX compliance, and liaising with auditors, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Must Have:
  • Review customer contracts and provide guidance on revenue recognition in line with US GAAP and company policy.
  • Partner with regional sales, services, finance, and accounting teams to produce monthly financial forecasts and variance analysis/insights.
  • Produce quarterly and annual reporting as required.
  • Produce annual budgets and rolling forecasts.
  • Evaluate performance for various business segments.
  • Provide inputs for cashflow forecasting and analysis.
  • Calculate sales commissions.
  • Ensure compliance with SOX controls for the organisation.
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors.
  • Work with team members, Business Operations, and Business IT for continuous improvement.
  • Qualified accountant or finalist stage of accounting qualification.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in finance & accounting, preferably within a multinational environment.
  • Experience with interpreting complex multi-element customer contracts.
  • Experience with reviewing and assisting in applying revenue recognition policies.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Accounting and Finance.
  • Advanced skills in Excel, Oracle Financials, Power BI, or TM1.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills.
  • Ability to manage/prioritise multiple projects and meet tight closing deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and within distributed team environments.

Working within the international finance team, this role will support the business operations of the EMEA and America’s regions and include the following responsibilities:

Desired Education/Experience

  • Qualified accountant / finalist stage of accounting qualification
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in finance & accounting required, preferably within a multinational environment.

  • Experience with reviewing and assisting in applying revenue recognition policies.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Comprehensive knowledge of Accounting and Finance, with advanced skills preferred in Excel / Oracle Financials / Power BI / TM1.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills.
  • Ability to manage/prioritise multiple projects and meet tight closing deadlines.
