Wolters Kluwer is seeking a Senior Financial Planning Analyst to analyze revenue and its driving metrics for their digital lending compliance product business. This high-visibility role requires strong communication and F, P & A technical skills. The analyst will provide financial insights, collect and analyze financial data, report on performance, develop revenue models, manage budgets, contribute to strategic planning, support month-end closing, and analyze sales pipelines. The position reports to the Financial Planning Manager and offers a hybrid work schedule.
Must have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics or data analytics.
  • Two years’ experience in a corporate financial analyst position.
  • Experience with ERP systems like SAP and NetSuite.
  • Experience with financial reporting systems like Hyperion and Tagetik.
  • Working knowledge of visualization tools like Power BI/Tableau.
  • Advanced Excel formula knowledge with ability to handle large data sets.
  • Variance analysis of projected results and actual results.
Good to have:

As a Senior Financial Planning Analyst, you will focus on the analysis of revenue, and on the metrics that drive the revenue for our digital lending compliance product business.  This position has high visibility, so effective communication skills along with your solid F, P & A technical skills are needed to support this growing business.

You will report to the Financial Planning Manager.  This position offers a flexible hybrid work schedule (two days in office, three days at home).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide financial insight and analysis into our key operational areas. 
• Collect, analyze, and communicate financial data to assist the business with making key decisions.
• Provide reporting on performance, focusing on revenue and the various metrics driving revenue.
• Develop and maintain revenue models creating early indicators for both risks and opportunities.
• Manage and report on the annual budget, while providing regular updates through monthly and quarterly analyses.
• Contribute to the 3-year Vision and Strategy Process (VSP). Additionally, conduct ad-hoc analyses as required.
• Support the month-end financial reporting process including generating reports to ensure accurate closing of monthly financials and closing in-depth financial reporting.
• Analyze and track sales pipeline and the relationship to the revenue forecast.
• Provide operational and business insight for key metrics across multiple functional areas.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:
• Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics or data analytics.  
 

Experience:
• Two years’ experience in a corporate financial analyst position.  Experience in a software development company preferred.

Knowledge, and Tools:
• Experience working with ERP systems like SAP and NetSuite.

• Experience working with financial reporting systems like Hyperion and Tagetik.

• Working knowledge of visualization tools like Power BI/Tableau.
