About the Role:
As an Associate Publisher, you will play a crucial role in supporting the life cycle of health-related publications, primarily journals. You will assist with supporting these high-impact products to market by performing foundational tasks that ensure accuracy and quality. Your work supports our mission to provide top-tier health information to professionals and consumers, making a meaningful impact on public health outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and formatting of editorial-related reporting for journals throughout the Lippincott and Medknow portfolios.
- Support the indexing of publications through assessments of initial requirement compliance and content quality.
- Conduct basic market research to support the development of new health publications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely reporting.
- Monitor and report on customer feedback to improve content quality.
- Provide general administrative support to the publishing team.
Skills:
- Basic Content Management: Knowledge of content preparation and formatting.
- Copyediting and Proofreading: Ability to assist in ensuring text accuracy.
- Organizational Skills: Capability to maintain extensive records and files.
- Market Research: Basic knowledge of common publishing indexes: Web of Science, Scopus, and Pubmed.
- Digital Publishing Tools: Familiarity with content management systems and basic digital tools.
- Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively within a team.
- Administrative Skills: General capability in supporting administrative tasks.
- Customer Feedback Monitoring: Ability to track and report feedback for content improvement.
