As a Senior Game Quality Assurance Tester, you will ensure software products are reliable and meet user expectations. Responsibilities include creating and executing test plans, documenting and reporting defects, improving testing processes, and collaborating with developers. You will also mentor junior testers and potentially lead the GQA team. The role involves working on some of the biggest game clients and titles. Must have:
  • Minimum 2 years of QA experience in the tech industry.
  • Proficiency in English at B2-C1 level.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, JIRA, and database knowledge.
  • Knowledge of computer, console, and mobile games.

For more information, visit www.side.inc About the role  As a Senior Game Quality Assurance Tester, you will ensure that software products or applications are reliable, easy to use, and meet user expectations, while also identifying and resolving any issues or defects that may arise during development or testing. Key Responsibilities: 
  • Creating and executing test plans and test cases to identify defects and ensure the quality of software products or applications.
  • Documenting and reporting defects and working with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
  • Continuously improving testing processes and methodologies to ensure the highest level of software quality.
  • Collaborating with software developers and other stakeholders to analyze and troubleshoot issues that arise during testing.
  • Mentoring less experienced testers in technical aspects of the job.
  • Assume the role of GQA Team Lead when required for short periods of time as the main point of contact for the team and the project.
Requirements 
  • At least secondary/higher education (preferably a diploma in an IT-related field).
  • Minimum 2 years experience as a Quality Assurance Tester in the tech industry; exposure in the gaming industry is a plus.
  • Proficiency in English at B2-C1 level.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, JIRA, and knowledge in database operation.
  • Knowledge of computer, console, and mobile applications/games.
  • Attention to detail, positive attitude, and ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Strong verbal and oral communication skills.
  • Passionate about gaming, result-oriented, eager for development, and capable of providing effective solutions to specific problems

Working Condition: 
  • On-Site in our Studio in Braga, Portugal 
  • 8:00 to 17:00, Mondays through Fridays
