Outfit7 is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join their talented team to develop and maintain mobile games. The role involves planning and implementing game features using Unity (C#), improving game code and tools, and collaborating efficiently across multidisciplinary teams. The ideal candidate will be proactive and lead by example, contributing to the portfolio of award-winning games.
Good To Have:
  • Experience with C++ programming.
  • Experience with different game engines.
  • Experience with shader programming.
Must Have:
  • Plan and implement game features and components for new and live mobile games using Unity (C#).
  • Maintain and improve game code, libraries and tools for artists and designers.
  • Collaborate, communicate, and work efficiently as part of the multidisciplinary team.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English.
  • Positive, make-it-happen, lead-by-example attitude.
  • Proactive working style, able to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Proficient mobile game development skills in C# with Unity.
  • Keen to learn new technologies and gain new skills.
  • 6+ years of professional experience in game development, preferably mobile games.
  • Excellent technical background (game development, programming patterns, data structures, computer architecture, performance optimisations).

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in the English language (both written and spoken).

  • Proactive working style, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and short production pipeline life-cycles.
  • Proficient mobile game development skills in C# with Unity.
  • Keen to learn new technologies and gain new skills.

Required Experience

  • 6+ years of professional experience in game development, preferably mobile games.
  • Excellent technical background (e.g. game development, programming patterns, data structures, computer architecture and performance optimisations).
  • Experience with C++ programming, different game engines and shader programming is a plus.
