Job Description

As a Senior Gameplay Programmer specializing in Quest System Development, you will design and implement an advanced AI-driven quest system to ensure each playthrough feels unique. You will develop a dynamic quest generation system that adapts to player actions and world state, work with designers and AI engineers, implement quest logic, triggers, objectives, and procedural storytelling tools, and optimize and polish quest-related mechanics for immersive player experiences. You'll be integral to creating a unique and engaging experience within the game.
Must Have:
  • 3+ years of gameplay programming experience focusing on quest systems.
  • Strong C++ and Unreal Engine 5 knowledge is required.
  • Experience in designing adaptive quest systems.
  • Understanding of AI-driven storytelling and world simulation.

Your Role

We are looking for a Senior Gameplay Programmer specializing in Quest System Development. You will design and implement an advanced AI-driven quest system that ensures each playthrough feels unique.


Responsibilities

  • Develop a dynamic quest generation system that adapts to player actions and world state.
  • Work with designers and AI engineers to create context-aware NPC interactions.
  • Implement quest logic, triggers, objectives, and procedural storytelling tools.
  • Ensure quests integrate seamlessly into an open-world survival setting.
  • Optimize and polish quest-related mechanics for immersive player experiences.


Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in gameplay programming, with a focus on quest systems.
  • Strong C++ and Unreal Engine 5 knowledge.
  • Experience designing adaptive and procedural quest systems.
  • Understanding of AI-driven storytelling and world simulation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work cross-discipline.
  • Onsite position (EU work authorization required).
