Responsibilities include providing primary support for HRIS technology users, performing data entry, developing reporting metrics, creating reports for leadership, participating in system integration projects, identifying system improvements, managing system permissions, ensuring system compliance, and maintaining knowledge of HRIS trends. Additional duties involve managing HR-related tasks such as reporting and leave coordination. The ideal candidate should be able to work independently and in a team environment.
Must have:
  • 5-7 years of HRIS administration experience or 5 years in payroll analyst role.
  • Experience using Workday, ADP or similar HRIS platform.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and technical support skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with HR policies and practices.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a collaborative approach.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and overall Microsoft Office Suite.

Overview

ZeniMax Media is seeking a Senior Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) Analyst to join our team at the corporate headquarters in Rockville, MD.  This person will support, educate, and provide guidance to system users while ensuring processes and transactions align with department standards.  In addition, this role will manage HR-related tasks that intersect with the HR and payroll teams.  The ideal candidate has excellent attention to detail, strong multitasking and organizational skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team environment to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary support point of contact for HRIS technology users, including employees, managers, and HR team members.
  • Perform timely data entry into HRIS and related systems to ensure accuracy of records at all times
  • Support and help develop reporting metrics across a wide range of HR activities.
  • Compile or assist in the creation of reports for senior leadership and HR staff.
  • Participate in system integration projects between HRIS and internal/external platforms.
  • Identify opportunities for system improvements and recommend/implement enhancements.
  • Assist in managing system permissions, access, and personalization settings for users.
  • Ensure system compliance with data security, retention and privacy requirements.
  • Maintain knowledge of HRIS trends, vendor updates and best practices.
  • Manage HR-related tasks intersecting HR and payroll, excluding payroll processing but including items such as reporting, reconciliation, leave coordination, etc.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in HRIS administration, or 5 years in a payroll analyst role with strong HR system experience
  • Experience using Workday, ADP or similar HRIS platform
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and technical support skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with HR policies and practices to support system alignment with organizational goals
  • Team-oriented mindset with a collaborative approach

Salary Range

Sr. HRIS Analsyt - The typical base pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $90,000 - $140,000 per year.

           

ZeniMax has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. The range above reflects the potential base pay across the U.S. for this role; the applicable base pay range will depend on what ultimately is determined to be the candidate’s primary work location. Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time.
