We seek a seasoned Senior Infrastructure and Design Automation Engineer skilled in technology, building, and deploying applications with stringent customer controls. Responsibilities include efficient planning, provisioning, installation, configuration, maintenance, and operations of software infrastructure for hardware and software product builds, validation, and release. The role involves identifying and implementing automation solutions, improving reliability and velocity through robust telemetry and best practices. You will collaborate with development and quality teams to define infrastructure design, build and automate tools, and maintain systems within Intel's enterprise constraints.
Must have:
  • Ensures the efficient planning, provisioning, installation/configuration, maintenance, and/or operations of software infrastructure required to build, validate, and release a wide variety of hardware and software products and projects.
  • Identifies opportunities and implements solutions for increased automation, reliability, and/or velocity within the pipeline through implementation of robust infrastructure telemetry, KPIs, and indicators, and by monitoring and applying industry best practices.
  • Works closely with development and quality teams to derive infrastructure design requirements, build, test, and automate tools appropriate to the project, and/or implements and maintains of those systems within the constraints imposed by Intel enterprise infrastructure (IT) and other governing bodies.
  • US Citizenship Required.
  • Ability to obtain a US Government Security Clearance.
  • Experience Installs/configures/support various EDA tools and setup within a design environment framework, on-prem or cloud enabled enclaves.
  • Experience in scripting languages like Python, Perl, Tcl, and/or shell scripting.
  • Experience with Linux OS, networking, and workload management platform, such as Netbatch, ION and installation and support of Tools Flows, Methodologies and Licenses.
Good to have:
  • Active US Government Security Clearance, with a minimum of Secret level.
  • Post Graduate degree in Computer/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or in a STEM related field of study.
  • Experience with providing technical direction to engineering teams, including but not limited to customer support, driving methodologies to streamline design work.
  • Familiarity with ticket management systems such as Jira.
  • Customer facing and project management experience.

The Senior Infrastructure and Design Automation Engineer’s responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

Qualifications:

The Minimum qualifications are required to be considered for this position. Minimum qualifications listed below would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experience and / or schoolwork/classes/research. The preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications

  • US Citizenship Required.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or in a STEM related field of study.
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in the field of design automation.
  • Experience Installs/configures/support various EDA tools and setup within a design environment framework, on-prem or cloud enabled enclaves.
  • Experience in scripting languages like Python, Perl, Tcl, and/or shell scripting.

$174,330.00-$246,110.00

Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience.
